DoubleClick introduces Cross-Device measurement Standards that will help create scale for your rich media campaigns on all screens

Google has published a new policy for obtaining EU end-users’ consent. Since the products & services of DoubleClick by Google are used on a daily base by us and our clients we strongly advice you to carefully read Google’s guidelines and ensure that you comply with this policy as soon as possible, and not later than 30th September 2015.

The Google policy clarifies your duty AS A PUBLISHER to ask and get end-user consent when you use products like Google AdSense, DoubleClick for Publishers, and DoubleClick Ad Exchange.

Please review the new EU user consent policy by Google as soon as possible. This requires that you obtain EU end users’ consent to the storing and accessing of cookies and other information, and to the data collection, sharing, and usage that takes place when you use Google products.

If your site or app does not have a compliant cookie consent tool, you should implement one as soon as possible. To make this process easier for you, we have compiled some helpful resources in this e-mail.

This policy change is being made in response to best practice and regulatory requirements issued by the European data protection authorities.
